In 1948 the Jacksboro Fire Department handed out the first version of Christmas Stockings. By 1957 they were handing out the same type of stocking that we hand out today. In 1957 they handed out 1500 at a cost of around $200 dollars. Today we hand out 3600 at a cost of just over $7000 dollars. Lets keep this tradition alive.
